This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and experienced individual to contribute to the academic and professional provision of Medicines Management/ Optimisation, education and practice with nursing and across a range of professionally based programmes in the Three Counties School of Nursing and Midwifery. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team to support .

The candidate will be required to develop and contribute to transformational health and social care agenda’s that support new models of healthcare delivery through new ways of working. The post holder will be committed to promoting academic enquiry that develops critical thinking in students at all levels and which supports safe, effective, evidenced based decision making for medicine administration and prescribing practice. The post holder will also be responsible for supporting an interprofessional approach to medicines optimisation and management to ensure students and graduating staff in the workforce are able to support this key health agenda.

By providing expert knowledge, the post holder will teach and lead agreed modules, assess students/apprentices, supervise undergraduate research and engage in curriculum development. Service user and carer involvement in course development and delivery is an increasingly important aspect of our work, as is inter-professional and interagency working.
