Salary £39,152 – £49,533 per annum
There is flexibility as part of this role and applicants are welcome to consider part time, job share, or clinical secondment options.

The recently established Institute for Health and Social Care will provide strategic leadership for all health and social care activities across the University and serve as the focal point for all external health and social care-related activities at the University. Our health and social care portfolio include nursing, social work, physician associate, paramedicine, ODP, physiotherapy, post-qualifying specialist nursing courses, and many professional CPPD courses.
We have state-of-the-art healthcare simulation suites across our three campuses supported by experienced technicians. The placement Learning Unit manage and support student placement experience. The School of Nursing. Midwifery and Allied Health is delighted to invite applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer Midwifery to join the existing team. The BSc(Hons) Midwifery is an exciting new programme that will be delivered from September 2021 out of our Uxbridge and Aylesbury campuses.
Applicants / clinical fractions: We are seeking to appoint a fully qualified, registered Midwife with an interest in developing an academic career. Preferably with higher education teaching experience. We are looking for a dynamic individual with experience as a Midwife and with an interest in teaching and supporting students by adopting a learner-centred approach and being committed to contributing towards delivery of a first-class student experience. Other key responsibilities include, the contribution towards curriculum development, research and other forms of scholarly activity, recruitment of students and working in collaboration with practice partners. You will be committed to achieving excellent student outcomes, have demonstrable ability to work in a team and display excellent communication skills.
