An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of two posts as Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Midwifery at London South Bank University. The successful candidate will join an excellent, Diverse, dynamic and hardworking midwifery team to provide high quality Midwifery education.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced midwife to take up this post. The successful candidate will join a diverse team committed to enhancing the healthcare workforce in partnership with providers across London, Essex and the south East with the aim of transforming midwifery services for the benefit of women and their families.

About You:

We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:

-NMC registrant as a Midwife.
-Degree plus preferably PGCE or Masters relevant experience (For Grade 8).
-Experience of working with a broad range Midwifery experience:
Experienced at organising and facilitating workshops/events.
Experience of teaching
NIPE (essential for one of the two posts- either grade)
Medicine management and additional care needs, PMA experience highly desirable
Current working midwifery knowledge and insight into national and local guidelines

The ideal candidate will be degree educated, be highly motivated and bring a thorough understanding of the Midwifery in the UK and international. Should have a passion for teaching and enhancing Midwifery education and supporting the current workforce.
