Using contemporary evidence, you will prepare students for future clinical practice which supports embedding research into practice for patient benefit. Your level of appointment will be in line with your previous experience and the University will offer you career development opportunities.
You also work within an established and friendly group of academic and professional staff, and will contribute to enhancing the work and the reputation of the School as a whole, collaborating interprofessionally and effectively with colleagues in the Faculty, University and externally as appropriate. You will undertake scholarly activity, maintain or work towards being research active and contribute to the School’s enterprise and innovation within the UK and internationally. The nature of this contribution will vary according to your experience and your direction of work will be required to fit with the School’s strategic plans. We would particularly welcome applicants from those with an interest in innovation and entrepreneurship or occupational science / justice.
You will use your knowledge of best practice in your profession and education methods, combined with excellent communication skills to support students in their learning to become safe, autonomous, competent Occupational Therapists.
