We are seeking applications from highly motivated candidates who have a strong track record in healthcare practice and education. We are keen to hear from both experienced academics, and also clinical colleagues interested in exploring a new career pathway. Our innovative nursing programmes have a community/primary care focus, so experience in these areas is an advantage, but applications from a range of backgrounds are welcomed. A variety of flexible employment options are available including full time, part time and secondments.

The School of Life and Health Sciences at the University of Roehampton is a relatively new provider of nurse education but has quickly established a reputation for quality and innovation. We offer degrees in Adult, Mental Health, Children’s Nursing and also a dual field integrated Masters in Adult and Mental Health Nursing. We recently started the Nurse Associate apprenticeship in partnership with local employers. Post-graduate Physiotherapy and Advanced Clinical Practice are also currently in development. We have campuses at the main Roehampton site and also at Croydon University Centre. We have three state-of-the-art clinical simulation centres, including our recently opened £3m Office for Students-funded Mary Seacole Health Innovation Centre. We have been commended by Health Education England for shifting the focus of healthcare education to better meet the needs of the future healthcare workforce.
