The Role
We are looking for Nursing Lecturer/Senior Lecturers to join our growing nursing education team in the School of Life and Health Sciences at our campuses in Roehampton and Croydon. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of establishing a new nursing/nursing associate provision in south-west London. You will have the opportunity to shape the curriculum, develop stakeholder partnerships and provide an excellent student experience.
We are seeking applications from experienced and highly motivated candidates who have a strong track record in nursing practice and education. These innovative nursing programmes have a community/primary care focus, so experience in these areas is desirable, but applications from a range of backgrounds is welcomed.
The School
Nursing, which sits within our school of Health and Life Sciences started in 2019 with a focus on Adult Nursing and an initial team of 4 staff, since then we have grown our team to over 30.Our programmes offered have also expanded to including Adult Nursing, Mental Health Nursing and the soon to be launched Children’s Nursing and Nursing associate, which this role will input on. We have gone on to establish a partnership with Croydon college where we deliver among other courses, our nursing programmes. We also have two state of the art clinical simulation centers, one on each campus, with a third soon to open at Roehampton. This is a thrilling time to join our team and help input into the future direction of our Nursing provision.
