Exciting work you will do
As a flexible Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer, you will work collaboratively with other academics and clinical staff from our placement providers as well as other staff within the Institute and leads for Practice Learning. Please note that the University is operating on a hybrid working model, which means a mix of working on-site and from home, and confirmation of days worked on campus will be arranged with the line manager.
The skills and experience you will need to be successful
We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to join our team. An interest in student learning and development would be beneficial.
Evidence of a strong clinical background in supporting pre-registration nurse education would be an asset.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to nurse education, through lecturing and module leadership roles as well as a practice assessor. At London South Bank we offer exciting opportunities for innovation in teaching practices and would value your ideas and initiatives.
To succeed in this Lecturer Senior Lecturer role, you will need to be a creative thinker in exploring new approaches to learning and develop for nursing students that will provide them with a range of experiences to meet the NMC (2018) Future Nurse – Standards of Proficiency for Registered Nurses. You should also be student-focused in your approach and able to apply the latest professional body requirements for nurse education.
Details about the role
This is a permanent and full-time (35 hours per week) Lecturer role based in London with hybrid working.
