We are seeking three enthusiastic and inspiring individuals to join UWE Bristol’s established and successful Children’s Nursing team, one on a full-time, permanent basis and two on a full-time, fixed-term basis.

You will bring your experience, dynamism, adaptability and creativity to the Future Nurse programme and our recently introduced degree apprenticeship programmes.

You will contribute towards planning and delivering teaching and assessment at foundation (degree apprenticeship), undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will deliver a high-quality educational experience for students and supporting the advancement of UWE Bristol’s Nursing programmes regionally, nationally and internationally.

You are an experienced registered nurse, with understanding of contemporary nursing standards and practices. Ideally, you possess, or are working towards, a postgraduate qualification in a related field and can show evidence of continuing professional development related to your current or previous professional roles.

We are based within the School of Health and Social Wellbeing. We contribute to the delivery of the cross field Future Nurse programme leading on the Children’s Nursing pathway. We also contribute to the nursing apprenticeship programmes. We have a strong research profile and are supported by two research centres, the Research Centre for Public Health and Wellbeing and the Centre for Health and Clinical Research.

We have one full-time permanent role and two full-time, fixed-term roles. Please note one fixed-term role is a maternity cover for 12 months or the earlier return of the substantive post holder, the second fixed-term role is secondment cover or the earlier return of the substantive post holder.
