The Department of Nursing in the School of Health & Psychological Sciences is one of London’s most established providers of health care education, delivering high quality undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. It has a strong portfolio of world-leading research in the areas of child health; mental health care; people with physical health and long-term conditions; acute and critical care; and care of the older person. The department works in partnership with service users and carers, alongside health and social care experts and providers, to develop and deliver education and research which shapes future nurse leaders.

Responsibilities
The appointed candidate will have a higher degree in a relevant health or social science discipline, registration with a relevant Professional Statutory Regulatory Body in health and social care and a relevant teaching qualification, or a willingness to qualify.

For appointment on an Education & Research role profile, a record of producing world-leading and internationally excellent research is required.

Person Specification
The post holder would contribute to the leadership and delivery of Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) modules. They would contribute to module teaching, assessment and marking across the ACP programme and have educational and experiential knowledge. They would contribute to student recruitment for both the ACP apprenticeship and direct entry routes.

As a member of the ACP team, you will have the passion and drive to deliver high quality teaching across the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice and the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship programmes, supporting students in practice and working with our key stakeholder organisations to ensure high quality learning experiences.

They would also act as personal tutor for ACP students. This role involves providing pastoral care and for apprenticeship students this can extend into facilitating tri-partite reviews.
