We are seeking to appoint an experienced academic to contribute to the teaching and learning in Paramedic Science. You will have a strong commitment to ensuring an outstanding student experience, deliver a range of high-quality teaching materials and provide excellent pastoral and academic support to students. You must be a qualified paramedic, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team. Secondments would be considered.

Applications for Lecturer or Senior Lecturer will be considered. Appointment to Senior Lecturer will be determined by level of academic experience.

The successful candidate will:

  • have a strong commitment to ensuring an outstanding student experience
  • deliver a range of high-quality teaching materials and associated student assessment activities
  • provide excellent pastoral and academic support to students
  • contribute to the planning, design and development of modules and programmes and curriculum changes
  • engage in one of the Faculty’s research themes
  • Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance will be required for this post at the appropriate level.
