Appointment to Senior Lecturer will be determined by level of academic qualifications and relevant experience
The School of Nursing and Advanced Practice has been committed to advancing developments in health and social care for over 25 years, tracing our origins back to 1991 when the Liverpool School of Nursing and Midwifery joined with Liverpool Polytechnic. Due to the unprecedented success of the School, we are now seeking to appoint Lecturers or Senior Lecturers in Nursing. The role will involve delivery of a range of high-quality teaching materials, student assessment activities and contributing to the planning, design and development of NMC approved programmes. You will work across a range programmes and will also be involved in simulated practice learning. You will also have the opportunity to engage in one of the Faculty’s research themes.
We are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals dedicated to providing an outstanding student experience who can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be enthusiastic and driven to improve the lives of patients, their carers, and their families. You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, educated to Masters Level and have significant experience within the relevant field of nursing including experience of teaching or supervising pre-registration nursing students.
This is your opportunity to be a key contributor to providing a high-quality, exceptional and transformative educational experience for students, and be part of our continued development. We believe that LJMU is an environment that will enable your successes to be recognised, celebrated and rewarded. You will join a team of staff with significant real-world experience and expertise from a range of disciplines which means that we are able to support your endeavours and provide mentorship as you grow in your role. If you are student-focused, enthusiastic and motivated, then LJMU is an excellent place to work. You will receive a competitive salary, with high quality pension provision and excellent holidays alongside a wide range of staff social and well-being benefits.
At LJMU, we value the benefits a rich and diverse workforce brings to our community and therefore welcome applications from all sections of society. We wish you every success in your application to become part of LJMU’s successful and welcoming team of staff.
LJMU values diversity and provides a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can fulfil their potential
