Liverpool John Moores University is looking for a talented, passionate and visionary mental health practitioner to join the School of Nursing and Allied Health. The nursing team was the proud winner of the 2018 Nursing Times Nurse Education Provider of the Year (pre-registration) and offers outstanding nurse education from undergraduate to Doctoral level.

This is an exciting time for nurse education in the University, with unparalleled expansion in student numbers, significant investment in resources and a growing reputation for innovation and excellence. To reflect the interdisciplinary nature of mental health practice, the university is looking to appoint a lecturer in mental health to join the mental health nursing team.

You will be enthusiastic and driven to improve the lives of service users, their carers and their families. You must be a registered or accredited health and social care professional, educated to Masters level and have significant mental health practice experience including experience of supervising pre-registration students or equivalent. You must also be committed to providing the very best student experience.

Appointment within the salary range above will be dependent on significant experience in curriculum design and delivery, as well as a doctorate or demonstrable equivalence in professional experience and status.
