Lecturer in Radiography- Diagnostic, in the Division of Dietetics, Nutrition, Biological Sciences, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Radiography

Hours: 35 hours (1.0 FTE) [part-time applications welcome]
Salary: Grade 8: £42,978 – £54,395 with possible progression to £61,198

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a key contributor within the School of Health Sciences at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, providing a high quality, exceptional and transformative educational experience to students in an innovative and high-tech learning environment. You will be a driving force in growing our portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of Radiography. In addition, where relevant, there are opportunities to contribute to programmes across the Division, School and wider University.

The School, with its breadth of professional programmes, delivers Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health as well as Therapeutic and Diagnostic Radiography, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Art Therapies, Speech and Hearing Science, Nursing and Paramedic Science. As such is in a unique position to develop opportunities for multi-professional and interdisciplinary learning and teaching and research.

To apply for this role, you must be registered or eligible for registration with the HCPC, hold a qualifying first degree, or equivalent, in radiography (diagnostic), have a postgraduate degree relevant to the area of radiography and have a broad understanding of working as a Radiographer. It is essential to have experience of supporting radiography students within an HEI or the practice-based learning environment. Please review the essential and desirable criteria.
