The Public Health team comprises academics with extensive experience in higher education. Our teaching spans undergraduate, postgraduate and professional education. Our research and scholarship is often collaborative, working with university, local, national and international partners e.g. sexual health; community arts and wellbeing; the needs of teachers who work with children with life limiting or life threatening conditions; sedentary lifestyles and health; early intervention; domestic abuse and substance misuse.

The Role

The role would require you to join a proactive, dynamic team that provides teaching and related scholarly activities. Mostly, we would like you to contribute to teaching our undergraduate students studying BSc (Hons) Public Health and Health Promotion. Our portfolio includes the MSc Global Public Health, a number of short courses in public health and PhDs.

The Person

You will have a relevant higher degree, a good understanding of health promotion and public health policy and practice in the UK, excellent communication skills and the ability to support others with their learning. Prior experience of working as a lecturer in health promotion or public health, in a university setting, would be desirable.
