Liverpool John Moores University is looking for talented, passionate and visionary individuals to join its rapidly growing nurse education team. This team was the proud winner of the 2020 Student Nursing Times Nurse Awards (Best Student Experience category) and offers outstanding nurse education from undergraduate to Doctoral level.
This is an exciting time for nurse education in the University, with unparalleled expansion in student numbers, significant investment in resources and a growing reputation for innovation and excellence. As a result, the university is looking to appoint Lecturers in Practice Learning. We welcome applicants with a background in adult nursing, public health nursing or district nursing.
You will be enthusiastic and driven to improve the quality of the practice learning environment for our students on nursing and midwifery programmes. You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, (any field of nursing practice: we particularly welcome individuals from Child and Mental health fields of nursing) and have significant experience in supervising and assessing students in practice. You must also be committed to providing the very best student experience. Experience in using simulation and immersive learning is desirable.
Appointment within the salary range above will be dependent on significant experience in curriculum design and delivery, as well as a doctorate or demonstrable equivalence in professional experience and status.
