Grade 7a/8 Starting salary* £37,474 or £44,737 (dependent upon experience*)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to cover maternity leave for a full time or part time, or secondment, fixed term position, as a Lecturer in Physiotherapy (Neurology) in the School of Allied Health Professions, to teach across the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum. Physiotherapy, Radiography (Diagnostic Imaging), Prosthetics and Orthotics, and Rehabilitation and Exercise Science are our established and growing programmes within the School, alongside post-graduate research degrees.

The School offers high quality undergraduate and pre-registration as well as postgraduate provision and PGR supervision. The School hosts the “Prevention, Performance and Rehabilitation” Faculty research theme and supports both Scholarship and Research collaborations. This post offers the opportunity for applicants to be appointed on a Lecturer contract, either with Education and Research to further develop a research career, or Education and Scholarship for those with more scholarly ambition.

The post holder will play a part in the development of educational initiatives aligned with the School strategic direction, and will pursue scholarly activities in line with the School focus. They will be an HCPC registered Physiotherapist, with an appreciation of the principles of teaching and learning in higher education.
