Lecturer in Paramedic Sciences

£43,434 to £50,296 per annum

The School of Health Sciences are seeking to appoint a full-time Lecturer in Paramedic Sciences to join our experienced and dedicated academic team, to provide vital educational input to the School’s pre-registration programmes in paramedic sciences.

You will have a good first degree (2:1 or above), and preferably a higher degree in a health-related discipline. The successful candidate will be either an HCPC registered paramedic, GMC registered physician with relevant experience, or NMC registered Nurse Practitioner with an acute and critical care background.

The key function of this post is to provide vital educational input into the School’s BSc (Hons) in Paramedic Science programme, along with essential expertise in acute and critical care (advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic interpretation). Additional advanced practice expertise is required to support the delivery and development of core, post registration provision.

The post is available immediately on a full-time, indefinite basis and will be subject to an enhanced criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
