This post represents an exciting opportunity to join the newly developed Paramedic Science team, School of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the University’s teaching and scholarship in Paramedic Science. You will undertake module leadership, or undertake development into a module leadership role as part of the MSci in Paramedic Science and undertake teaching and administrative duties efficiently and effectively within the guidelines operated by the School. You will contribute to the ongoing development of paramedic curriculum at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and be an active member of the Paramedic Science Team. You will support other programmes in the School; developing new and maintaining current relationships in the wider University, and with Partners and External Stakeholders.
You will develop regionally, nationally, and internationally recognised scholarship activity over time. Initially the role will be structured to enable development of scholarship activity within the educational role. Over time, there is an expectation that scholarship activity will develop and expand, aligning to and complementing existing areas of higher education scholarship within the School.
You will possess a Paramedic Science or Related Professional Qualification at degree level, or above and have current registration with the HCPC as a registered paramedic with a clear record to practice . You will have experience of teaching students in a clinical or Higher Education setting and have relevant experience of Paramedic Science practice in the UK.
