A great opportunity to join a growing team delivering innovative paramedic education solutions across the UK.
This role will be part of the Centre of Excellence in Paramedic Practice (CEPP) which is the UK’s largest provider of paramedic education. This includes our CPD programme which currently has over 700 paramedics studying postgraduate programmes. Alongside this, the CEPP has a Future Quals Centre which delivers a range of programmes in partnership with 7 ambulance services. These programmes support over 500 students across the UK in developing the academic qualification to progress onto paramedic programmes. You will work across a range of programmes and apprenticeships and will be supported by the Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Innovation.
The CEPP has a core aim of working in partnership with ambulance services to create innovative education solutions that support the development of sustainable education pathways. There will be an expectation that you will work across the university’s programmes to support other project and programme teams.
We are looking for individuals who are qualified assessors (or are willing to achieve this) and hold (or are working towards) a teaching qualification that can work within our Future Quals centre. Staff will also be supported to achieve the PGCHE qualification if they do not already hold this and academic support will be provided for clinicians that may be transitioning from practice into HE.
We are happy to consider flexible employment opportunities, including job share and secondments.
We are seeking innovative, creative, high quality researchers, and scholars to foster a culture of exploration, discovery and intellectual challenge that generates international recognition, respect and engagement.
*This role will most likely be a combination of home working and working from our Lancaster Campus.
