The key duties of the post holder will be to contribute to the teaching and delivery of the Higher Education Level 6 Advanced Professional Diploma (CPD) in Adult Social Care Nursing programme, including the academic and personal support of students at our satellite site at Petroc College, North Devon. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to the student recruitment and admissions of the Higher Education Level 6 Advanced Professional Diploma (CPD) in Adult Social Care Nursing programme.

Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration is an essential requirement for this role along with a first degree and preferably a teaching qualification. We are particularly interested in candidates with contemporary experience in nursing home practice, dementia care and leading on both clinical and educational practice within the nursing home environment

The successful candidate should demonstrate a practical awareness of current developments in adult social care nursing and nursing home practice as well as being able to successfully lead on the implementation and delivery of an innovative and sector specific, Health Education England funded programme of study.
