Are you interested in becoming midwifery lecturer? We are seeking someone who is passionate about education to join our growing Midwifery team in the School of Allied Health Professions and Midwifery. We would welcome applications from midwives who have a range of lived and professional experience to share, especially experience of living within and / or working across a range of diverse communities.

The team are national leaders in developing and delivering Problem Based Learning curricula and have presented at international conferences on the use of innovative simulated teaching methods. We offer a range of exciting pre-registration and postgraduate programmes, including the Post Graduate Certificate in Diagnostic Hysteroscopy &Therapeutic Management and the MSc Midwifery.

You should be committed to high quality academic and clinical education and be innovative and creative. You will work collaboratively with staff in the School of Allied Health Professions and Midwifery and across the Faculty of Health Studies, including the service user and carer group and with our students to further develop our programmes and to develop new business or research opportunities. You will also be involved in student recruitment activities.

This is offered on a 0.8fte part time contract equivalent to 29hrs per week, we welcome secondment and job share enquiries.
