Applicants with a Diploma of Higher Education in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy will be considered.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.

This post is available on our teaching and scholarship career track. Here at the School of Medical and Health Sciences, we value the partnership we have with students and prioritise support and encouragement for all our students across their differing programmes. The School offers a welcoming context for those who are less experienced in teaching to develop their potential. The successful candidate will have opportunities to contribute to teaching and learning across the School’s portfolio, but primarily within the dental hygiene programme.

Our mission is to mobilise its expertise and experience to generate new solutions to health and care challenges. We do this by leading health care research, scholarship, teaching and learning that is of the highest possible standard, quality and value to service users, practitioners and stakeholders. We aim to be an international example of best practice in partnership-working with students, professionals, health and social care services, and policy makers. We pay attention to demonstrating the links between our research and teaching activities, and in providing our students with excellent learning experiences that equip them with the ability to succeed in their professional careers.

Informal enquiries about the posts can be made to Dr Lynne Williams (Head of School), lynne.williams@bangor.ac.uk or Beverley Littlemore (Programme Lead for Dental Hygiene), b.littlemore@bangor.ac.uk
