About the role
Reporting to the Head of School for Chiropractic, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery and assessment of content related to health promotion, in particular aspects of health psychology, determinants of health and public health. Key to this role will be the ability to work with students to develop the skills needed for effective patient interactions in future clinical practice and the breadth of public health initiatives which are pertinent to primary care.
About the person
We seek enthusiastic and highly motivated academics with relevant qualifications in health psychology and public health with an ability to develop students’ understanding of psychology and public health as it relates to the scope of practice for chiropractic. The post holder will have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with relevant previous experience.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to high quality research either through individual publications or as part of a group of staff.
