The School of Allied Health Professions (SAHP) is pleased to provide an exciting opportunity for a full time Lecturer in Exercise Science. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologists, working in partnership with academics from Physiotherapy, Diagnostic Imaging and Radiography, Prosthetics and Orthotics, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy and the School of Medicine.

The post-holder’s main focus will be to help maintain and grow the success of the BSc programme in Rehabilitation and Exercise Science and to further develop education, scholarship, research and postgraduate study in related topic areas. SAHP is particularly interested in recruiting a colleague with strengths in applied practice and research in either (or a combination of) physiology, psychology or biomechanics.

Professional qualifications, including FHEA or equivalent and AHCS Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist, BASES Accredited, or Certified Sports & Exercise Scientist or international equivalents are highly desirable at the point of interview. The successful postholder will be required to have attained such professional qualifications within the first three years of employment.
