About the role

Reporting to the Head of School for Chiropractic, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery and assessment of content related to exercise prescription, soft tissue massage, and elements of the core sciences. Key to this role will be the ability to work with students to develop the skills needed for effective management of patients from an exercise rehabilitation and soft tissues therapies perspective.

About the person

We seek an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with relevant qualifications in healthcare, clinical exercise science, sports therapy or other similar professions with a focus on the clinical application of exercise and the management of soft tissue injuries. The post holder will have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with relevant previous experience.

The successful candidate will be an exceptional team worker and able to contribute to clinical skills education as part of a multi-professional group of academic staff. They will be expected to contribute to high quality research or knowledge exchange in support of the institution’s strategic development.
