About the role

Please note we are looking to appoint 2x 0.5fte positions.

This role is being advertised to support an increase in student numbers on pre-registration Diagnostic Imaging programmes at the University of Derby.

The post holders will be known as Practice Educators and will be important members of the programme team. They will be responsible for the co-ordination and facilitation of the integration of practice and academic education of pre-registration student radiographers in the practice setting according to the requirements of the BSc (Hons) and MSc (Pre Reg) Diagnostic Radiography programmes. The Practice Educators will also ensure the maintenance of effective lines of communication between the Diagnostic Imaging departments where students are on placement and the University of Derby through liaison with relevant staff.
