About the role
The University of Derby has expanded its provision in nursing education including children nursing. Our children Nursing provision is growing, and in our strive to expand our staffing resource, we are seeking to recruit an educator to contribute to the delivery of this programme.
This post is an opportunity for applicants/Children Nurses who are exploring career in academia. You will have the skills and knowledge to teach across the children nursing programmes.
It is essential that the successful candidate is focused on providing an excellent student experience and understands the importance of supporting students in the workplace. You will have a strong clinical and/or educational background, be innovative, and creative and will contribute to enhancing the quality of children nursing education.
The university is committed to provide mentoring support to new academics and support their Continuous professional development.
This is a part time position – 0.6 FTE, 3 days per week
