The School of Health and Psychological Sciences is dedicated to the education and development of health professionals and the performance of high-quality research. It is located in one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. The School offers students excellent academic tuition at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We offer degrees in Nursing, Midwifery, Radiography, Optometry, Psychology and Speech and Language therapy, and a suite of flexible postgraduate study options including Masters, PhD programmes and an extensive Continuing Personal and Professional Development portfolio.

Responsibilities
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate with an extensive knowledge and academic qualification in the area of human biology and pathophysiology to teach biological sciences across a wide range of programmes, including the BSc/MEng in Biomedical and Healthcare Engineering programme in the School of Science and Technology. The successful applicant will provide high-quality education to undergraduate and postgraduate students, demonstrate an ability to be innovative and flexible to meet the changing needs of the workforce and enjoy interdisciplinary working.

The appointed candidate will have a higher degree in an appropriate biological science, teaching experience, and a relevant teaching qualification, or a willingness to undertake one.
