We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented individual to join a dedicated and innovative team on a 0.8 fte contract (equivalent to 4 days per week. The School of Nursing & Healthcare Leadership in the Faculty of Health Studies delivers a range of programmes for health and social care professionals at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We deliver on two sites; Bradford University Campus and Dewsbury District Hospital, with occasional work externally, on weekends and abroad. A significant part of our provision is the undergraduate pre-registration Nursing programme in adult, mental health and children’s nursing. You will work with a team to deliver on all aspects of nursing. In addition to contributing to undergraduate nursing there will be opportunity for you to get involved in other provision including Nursing Associates and continuing professional development programmes. The School team work closely together sharing resources across programmes and contributing expertise where it is required to ensure staff play to their strengths and we provide an excellent student experience.

You should be passionate about health professional education and demonstrate a commitment to the provision of high quality teaching that makes a difference to the provision of quality care and services in healthcare. You will contribute to programme delivery, curricula development and innovative teaching, learning and assessment, across under-graduate and post-graduate provision. You will demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to be innovative and creative while making use of development opportunities to improve self and the School.
