Are you interested in helping to teach, shape and develop the next generation of Adult Nurses? Our exciting new job role will give you the opportunity to work closely with students studying the BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing.

You will be working alongside our inspiring and supportive team whilst contributing to the teaching, student support, programme development and research. The role is key in enhancing the current programme and contributing to the new curriculum for the BSc (Hons) in Adult Nursing. It involves delivering face-to-face teaching of modules designed to reflect the NMC’s Future Nurse Standards.

Effective links with practice will be maintained with the role of link lecturer (Academic Assessor), working closely with students and practice partners. Every day is different and rewarding. This role is suitable for anyone who has experience of teaching or anyone wishing to begin a career in academia and brings with them contemporary knowledge from practice.

Working in partnership with local NHS trusts, health and social care providers, service users and carers; our Institute of Health provides initial pre-registration education for a broad range of health care professionals. Our aim is to support the skills requirements of the region, by attracting and retaining health professionals who will provide high quality, evidence-based care in a time of change in health and social care.
