The School of Health Sciences is dedicated to the education and development of health professionals and the performance of high-quality research. It is located in one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. The School offers students excellent academic tuition at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We offer pre-registration degrees in: Nursing, Midwifery, Radiography, Optometry, and Speech and Language therapy, while our suite of master’s programmes includes advanced courses in Nursing; Midwifery; Radiography; Optometry; Speech, Language and Communication; Health Management, Policy and research; and Food Policy.
Responsibilities
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Lecturer who has extensive experience in District Nursing. The appointed candidate will contribute to the delivery of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate education in District Nursing and make a significant contribution to the educational activities of the School.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will have a higher degree in a relevant health or social science discipline, NMC or HCPC registration and a relevant teaching qualification, or a willingness to undertake one. A NMC registered Specialist Practitioner in District Nursing (SPQ qualification) is required along with a breadth and depth of specialist knowledge in District Nursing.
