The School of Health Sciences is ranked first in London for student satisfaction in Nursing (Complete University Guide 2020 and 2021). The children’s nursing team are seeking a lecturer who is dynamic and ambitious to contribute to our continued success and who shares our ambition to be the country’s leading School of Health.
The successful candidate will lead curriculum and educational developments through the integration of scholarship, research, and professional/clinical activities. They will plan, organise, and manage education, learning and assessment activities. Use a range of learning and teaching methodologies, including in-person and online delivery modes, that foster positive learning environments for students. The candidate will monitor and evaluate the quality of the student experience, taking appropriate action to ensure the retention and progression of the school’s students. As well as playing an appropriate role in personal tutoring and pastoral care to support students.
The successful candidate will be a registered children’s nurse with a Masters qualification.
As a Lecturer, you will provide high-quality education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and have a track record of world-leading or internationally excellent research publications and / or conference presentations.
