The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health has a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practice, Paramedic, Physiotherapy leading to professional registration. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at UG and PG levels including Advanced Clinical Practice and Non-Medical prescribing. Coventry University is Best University in the Midlands, 2021. 11th in the UK for Nursing and Midwifery, The Guardian, 2021. 2nd in the UK for placements, The Nursing Times.
We are currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic individuals to take up a variety of positions within our highly innovative pre-registration Adult Nursing Blended BSc/MSc courses. These are:
- Lecturer Adult Nursing
- Assistant Lecturer Adult Nursing
Please see Job Descriptions for details. Applicants will need to possess a Registered Nurse qualification, preferably within field. Previous experience of teaching within a Higher Education Institution is highly desirable and your application should detail your areas of clinical/teaching experience and expertise.
The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for individuals who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification. You will be supported to develop your interests in order to progress your career. Salary is dependent on experience.
