Following a recent restructure of our on-site clinical services, the current School of Radiology is changing name to the School of Radiography. We are now looking for an exceptional new Head of School to take forward our plans in education, research and professional practice. The School of Radiography offers courses in Medical Imaging and Radiography. At undergraduate level we offer BSc (Hons) Therapeutic Radiography and BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography. At postgraduate level we offer MSc Medical Ultrasound, MSc Breast Imaging and MSc Clinical Reporting. We also have an active programme of short courses and CPD in ultrasound.

About the role

The new Head of School will lead and grow our educational provision, professional practice and research portfolio. You will embed simulation-based education within our training offering to produce high-quality graduates suitable for immediate employment and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with our external stakeholders in the NHS and other healthcare settings.

About the person

We are looking for a proactive, team-focused, leader with a flexible approach to management with excellent communication skills, demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining effective working relationships and share the values of the University College.
