We are seeking to appoint an External Expert for an upcoming reapproval of event at the University of Bradford. The School of Nursing and Healthcare Leadership have existing MSc Leadership in Health and Social Care and MSc Leadership in Health and Social Care (International) programmes which were approved for delivery in December 2019. The Programme Team have developed a fully distance learning route for these programmes which they are now in a position to present for approval.
The MSc programmes are designed for both home and overseas students who wish to further a career in health and social care. The programmes aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills they will need, and also to develop their confidence and personal leadership abilities.
As an External Expert you will be invited to review programme documentation and submit a written report, attendance at the online meeting is not required. The successful candidate will be sent the documentation on 5th November 2021 and will have 2 weeks to read and complete a written report to return to the University by 22nd November 2021.
The successful applicant will have experience designing and delivering Masters level Health and Social Care Leadership awards and will be familiar with delivery through distance learning. They should teach at Masters’ level and have experience of quality assurance within the Higher Education sector in the UK. Professional accreditation through CIPD/CMI is welcome but not essential.
Experts external to the University bring their professional expertise and insight to activities such as programme review, modification and approval. They are a valuable asset to the University in assuring that the programmes it delivers are academically coherent, current in terms of the most recent academic, professional and industrial developments and relevant to the needs of employers.
