The School of Nursing in the Faculty of Health and Care at the University of Central Lancashire is seeking to appoint external examiners for the following programmes:
- BSc/MSc Registered nurse (RN) (Adult) x2
- BSc/MSc Registered nurse (RN) (Mental Health)
The successful applicants must be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and have relevant experience teaching on a pre-registration programme. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced academic staff. An induction is provided that the appointee will be expected to attend. If you are new to external examining, you will be able to access a robust support system.
The External Examiner will be expected to attend a minimum of one Board of Examiners meeting per year. All appointments are subject to the candidate meeting the University’s criteria for appointment.
