The University of Wolverhampton requires an external examiner within the Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing, School of Nursing;

External Examiner for Advocacy and Education for Quality Improvement in Practice (A-EQUIP)

To support this role, you must:
• Be a registrant with the NMC
• Be experienced in the role of Professional Nurse Advocate

External examiners will be expected to monitor the quality of the coursework across the provision(s). We are seeking candidates whose areas of expertise would enable them to monitor the quality of these courses and externally moderate assessed work.

You are required to attend at least one assessment board a year and complete an annual report. You are also required to provide comments on proposed modifications and the development of new modules within your area of expertise.

Please note we cannot accept applications if you have already been an External Examiner for our University in the last 5 years, or if one of our staff is already an Examiner in the same department at your home institution.
