Leeds Beckett University – External Examiner for the School of Health
The School of Health at Leeds Beckett University are looking to recruit an External Examiner in the Social Work to commence duties in the 2023-24 academic year.
- Two external examiners for BAH Social Work and apprenticeship; MA Social Work
Unfortunately, due to potential reciprocity issues/University prohibitions, we are unable to appoint from the following institutions:
- Royal Holloway, University of London
- Manchester Metropolitan University
- Anglia Ruskin University
- Teesside University
- Brighton University
- Liverpool John Moores
The appointment is subject to approval by the University’s scrutiny process and is for a 4-year period. The current fee for an External Examiner is £400 per annum + reasonable expenses.
Applicants should be working in UK HE with experience of teaching and examining in the subject area and be registered with Social Work England.
Previous experience of external examining is not necessary as the University will provide online induction training and a mentor.
