The post will require consideration of assessments related to three modules of study Reviewing of Approved Prior Learning (APL) towards awarding 120 credits as per entry requirements.
The School of Health Sciences has offered the Nursing Degree Apprenticeship (NMC 2010) since February 2018. There are 2 cohorts on the new curriculum and standard with a further cohort to start in October 2023, with numbers ranging from 35-38 apprentices per cohort. Intakes are on a two-year route and commence in October each year.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced academic staff. The successful applicant will be invited to attend an induction day prior to commencement of the role.
Responsibilities include approving APL, commenting on draft assessment guidelines, commenting on draft examination/assessment papers, reviewing samples of students’ summative assignments, attending meetings of examiners (up to two per year), and submitting an annual report.
