The University of Dundee is seeking to appoint an External Examiner in the Adult field for our Pre-registration Nursing Programme – Adult:
- Bachelor of Science Nursing – Adult
- Bachelor of Science (Honours) Nursing – Adult
- Master of Science Nursing – Adult
The successful applicant may also have the opportunity to undertake some post-registration and/or postgraduate external examining related to their expertise, and by negotiation.
The University requires that External Examiners have qualifications at least equivalent to the Programme being examined, so the successful applicants will possess a Masters Degree. A teaching qualification relevant to Higher Education is also essential for this post.
Please be aware that the NMC requires external examiners for Nursing and Midwifery programmes to possess current registration on the appropriate part of the NMC Register.
All appointments will be from 1 October 2023 and will be initially for a four-year period.
