The School of Health and Care Professions at the University of Portsmouth are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified external examiner for our NMC-approved, pre-registration BN (Hons) Nursing programme (FHEQ levels 4, 5 and 6), which is approved for delivery against the NMC (2018) standards. Our programme includes extensive simulation and was the first pre-registration nursing programme to be accredited by ASPiH.
The successful applicant will be EE for three level 6 modules: Complexities of Nursing, Quality Improvement (project module) and a Leadership module. Some of the modules are shared across Adult and Mental Health Nursing and ODP programmes. Current relevant experience in higher education along with professional registration with the NMC as a Nurse is essential.
