The School of Health and Social Work at the University of Hertfordshire is seeking to appoint an external examiner for our multidisciplinary Practice Certificate in Independent and Supplementary Prescribing Programme. This very popular programme is delivered three times per year and is offered to Nurses (V300 and V150), Midwives (V300), Pharmacists, and all AHP groups eligible to prescribe. To ensure that all regulatory body requirements are met we hold four Board of Examiners’ meetings across the year.
The appointment is from May 2022 and will be for a 4-year period.
Experience of teaching and assessing within a non-medical prescribing programme in a higher education setting is essential. Candidates must be appropriately qualified and experienced prescribers on the register of their statutory regulator (NMC, GPhC, or HCPC).
