The University of Northampton is seeking to appoint an External Examiner in the Nursing subject area for the following programme run in partnership with Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) NHS Foundation Trust.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Perioperative Care
OUH is a world-renowned center of clinical excellent and one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the UK.
Students on this programmer will embed patient safety standards and enhance clinical practice. The programme is designed to attract appropriately qualified and experienced nurses and allied healthcare professionals who are seeking to engage in programme of professional development. Currently the programme is not subject to approval by a professional body.
The ideal candidate will:
- be suitably qualified with expertise in the above areas.
- have previous experience as an external examiner but is not essential.
- have previous experience of working in partnerships but is not essential.
The appointment will be for the four academic years 2023 to 2027 and will start immediately upon appointment.
