The School of Nursing and Midwifery at Queen’s University Belfast is seeking to appoint an External Examiner.
The appointment is to our Post Registration Nursing Examination Boards for BSc Health Studies and Specialist Practice programmes at level 6 and level 7.
Experienced External Examiners would be preferred but those seeking a first position and having relevant clinical and educational experience will also be considered. All applicants must be at Senior Lecturer level or above.
It is anticipated this post will commence from 1 October 2022 for a period of 4 years.
Full course details and documentation will be provided to the appointee with an induction at the University on appointment. The post requires external moderation of assessments, completion of an annual monitoring report, attendance at the relevant Board of Examiner meetings and may be required to meet with students and practice assessors which could be either in-practice or on-line.
