The Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Hull wishes to appoint an External Examiner for our PGCert Educator/Assessor Program and Associated Modules.
The duties of the position are as follows:
- Consideration and moderation of students’ assessments of theory and practice learning.
- Submission of an External Examiner’s Annual Report
- Membership and attendance at Boards of Examiners
- Collaboration with program directors, module leaders and administrative colleagues to inform the continued monitoring, review and enhancement of these programs.
External examiners appointments are typically for a period of four years and the appointment is for the start of the 2023 academic year. Applicants would preferably have relevant experience and knowledge of post-graduate level programs and Advanced Practice as a subject area, however, other applicants may be considered. Appointment is subject to meeting the university’s criteria for the appointment of External Examiners.
