UWE Bristol, School of Health, and Social Wellbeing is seeking a Field External Examiner to start in October 2023. The post will be for 4 years and includes the need to attend various examination boards.
Essential: Applicants must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
The subject cluster required a Field External Examiner to represent a range of academic perspectives in the field of Nursing (Learning Disability). The BSc (hons) nursing programme has several shared modules and therefore there is an expectation to review across fields within some module allocation. Examples of modules are as follows:
Advanced Clinical Practitioner Synoptic Module
Episodes of Care 1
Episodes of Care 1 (Apprenticeship)
Episodes Of Care 6
Supporting People with Complex Needs
We particularly encourage applications from members of Black and Minority Ethnic communities, as this group is currently underrepresented among external examiners.
