The Institute of Health and Social Care is the largest school in London South Bank University with a long-standing reputation for excellence in the education, research and practice development of a variety of health and social care specialists.
The Division of Adult Nursing is seeking to appoint an external examiner for our Nursing Associate Programme (Apprenticeship and Direct Entry).
The University operates a two-tier examination board system, with external examiners being initially appointed to a Subject Area Board where they will oversee a number of academic modules. More experienced external examiners may subsequently be appointed to an Award and Progression Examination Board. The Examination Board meets three times a year and there is an expectation that the external examiner will attend at least one Examination Board and submit an annual report to the University.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified academic staff who are registered nurses and hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing. All appointments are subject to the candidate meeting the University’s criteria for appointment.
