External Examiner needed for BSc (Hons) Midwifery Programme with University of Northampton

The University of Northampton is looking for an External Examiner for BSc (Hons) Midwifery Programme.

The programme sits within the Faculty of Health, Education and Society. The position requires:

  • External examining of Level 6 and one 7 module – MID3030P, MID3028, MID3029, MID4005, MIDM010.
  • The position holder must have NMC registration and be qualified in the Newborn and Infant Physical Examination Practitioner (NIPE).
  • Support the University by examining at our Competency Test Centre (CTC)

We are looking for someone:

  • who is suitably qualified with expertise in the above areas, ideally a Programme Leader or Senior Lecturer on similar programmes.
  • previous experience as an external examiner is preferred but not essential

The appointment will be for the four academic years 2024 to 2028, from 1 September 2024

The University of Northampton will not appoint an External Examiner from any of our approved partnerships. This information will be checked upon application.
