The University of Northampton is looking for an External Examiner for BSc (Hons) Midwifery Programme.
The programme sits within the Faculty of Health, Education and Society. The position requires:
- External examining of Level 6 and one 7 module – MID3030P, MID3028, MID3029, MID4005, MIDM010.
- The position holder must have NMC registration and be qualified in the Newborn and Infant Physical Examination Practitioner (NIPE).
- Support the University by examining at our Competency Test Centre (CTC)
We are looking for someone:
- who is suitably qualified with expertise in the above areas, ideally a Programme Leader or Senior Lecturer on similar programmes.
- previous experience as an external examiner is preferred but not essential
The appointment will be for the four academic years 2024 to 2028, from 1 September 2024
