Bangor University, School of Health Science is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for our MSc pathways and modules. This post will involve external moderation of work relating to several modules of study at level 7 including MSc in Leadership and Quality Improvement, MSc Dementia Studies and Healthcare (Implementation, Public Health as well as Ageing and Dementia). A new DHealthcare pathway is also being developed for validation with a focus on Social Work, Social Care and Well-being.
As usual, the successful applicant will be expected to attend Boards of Examiner meetings (usually two examination board per year in May and October) and complete an annual monitoring report.
The post requires that external examiners possess a master’s degree or above and be at senior lecturer level or equivalent, it would be an advantage to have current NMC or HCPC registration.
