The School of Health and Social Work is looking for an external examiner for its full-time and part-time PgDip Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) programmes. The appointment will be with immediate effect (1st of September 2024). Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experience academic staff, who hold current registration as CBT Psychotherapist with BABCP.

Previous experience of acting in the role of external examiner is desirable but not essential. The tenure of appointment is for four years. All external examiner appointments are subject to approval by the Director of the Centre of Academic Quality Assurance. The successful candidate will have access to an on-line training course to familiarise themselves with the role and have the opportunity to meet the teaching team; additional support is available for those who have not undertaken the role before in the form of Induction and other tailored forms.
